Xerox presents new equipment in Russia
Last week Xerox announced that it was starting to sell its new DocuColor 12 and Document Center Series 50 family digital copy printers in Russia. The new models provide a printing and copying volume of up to 30,000 pages per month at a speed of 12.5 color or 50 black-and-white pages per minute at a resolution of 600x600x8 dpi. The recommended retail prices of the devices are $21,000 and $25,500 respectively. The vendor also demonstrated its new digital network laser printer DocuColor 4LP and the color laser copy printer DocuColor 4CP. DocuColor 4LP can print four color or 16 black-and-white pages per minute at 600x600x8 dpi, and is equipped with the MIPS R4700 133 MHz processor, 64 MB of RAM and a 2.1 GB HDD. The copy printer DocuColor 4CP supports the same characteristics, as well as copying and network scanning.
