Fors gets Gostelecom certificate for Fastcom I

Fors-Holding has announced that it has been granted a certificate by the State Committee for Telecommunications for its Oracle-based billing system Fastcom I. The certificate is valid until 2002 and allows its holder to install the system only at "telecommunications network of ZAO Aist (Toliatti) for up to 100,000 users". The project in Toliatti is valued at about $100,000, and currently Fors is starting to produce a mass version of Fastcom I.
