AK-Cent Microsystems opens office in Kazakhstan

AK-Cent Microsystems has announced that it has opened a representative office in Almaty. The new office will employ 4-5 people and will be managed by Igor Yakushin, formerly sales manager at the Almaty office of TerraLink. The office will be selling in Kazakhstan, Kirgizstan and Uzbekistan products of AK-Cent partner vendors, including Transcend memory and boards, Kingmax equipment for portable computers, as well as AK-Cent Memory-branded memory. According to AK-Cent Microsystems director Alexey Kuzminykh, his company’s 15 dealers in the region will now get products from the new office’s warehouse capable of satisfying 90 percent of orders. In spring, AK-Cent also plans to open a representative office in St. Petersburg, Mr. Kuzminykh says.
