AK-Cent Microsystems has announced that it has opened a representative office in Almaty. The new office will employ 4-5 people and will be managed by Igor Yakushin, formerly sales manager at the Almaty office of TerraLink. The office will be selling in Kazakhstan, Kirgizstan and Uzbekistan products of AK-Cent partner vendors, including Transcend memory and boards, Kingmax equipment for portable computers, as well as AK-Cent Memory-branded memory. According to AK-Cent Microsystems director Alexey Kuzminykh, his company’s 15 dealers in the region will now get products from the new office’s warehouse capable of satisfying 90 percent of orders.
