Sviazinvest announces 2000 plans
Sviazinvest has announced some of its plans for this year. The company reports that in 2000 the Ministry of State Property intends to sell the shares it holds in 11 regional operators controlled by the holding. Sviazinvest also plans to develop a uniform technical, marketing and financial policy for all of its subsidiaries. Finally, the holding made a decision to help its regional companies to enter new markets, including cellular communications, data transmission and Internet access.
