Xerox CIS publishes annual results

Xerox CIS has announced some results of its work in 1999. These include the appointment of Igor Simonov as general director, the restructuring of the Russian office, the introduction of a new marketing strategy and 16 new products. The vendor reports that its sales of digital equipment increased to 3,600 units and that it now has about 60 percent of this market. In the area of personal printers, Xerox share of the market grew from 0.7-0.8 percent to 7 percent, which equates to 15,000 laser printers.
