R-Style to sell computers through M.Video

R-Style and M.Video have announced that they have signed an agreement, which calls for the retail chain to sell R-Style Proxima computers. According to M.Video deputy manager Denis Nikulin, his company stopped selling R-Style computers about eight months ago when the vendor started restructuring and changed conditions of cooperation with M.Video. The new contract calls for direct shipments to M.Video stores of three configurations of R-Style Proxima machines (Celeron 400, 466, and Pentium III 500E) bundled with Kirill & Mefody software. According to Mr. Nikulin, the equipment will be sold in five out of nine M.Video stores, which have computer departments. According to R-Style retail sales director Sergey Skvortsov, today his company can produce up to 500 Proxima machines a month. He says R-Style is now talking to another retail chain to start selling Proxima through its 20 stores.
