DPI to become Xerox distributor
Following its acquisition of Color Printing and Imaging Division of Tektronix last September, Xerox CIS and the exclusive distributor of Tektronix in Russia, DPI, have announced that they are to sign an interim distribution agreement covering the period in which the manufacturers merge their distribution channels. According to DPI general director Evgeny Boutman, the terms of the new contract will not differ significantly from the terms of DPI agreement with Tektronix and DPI. His company will retain the status of exclusive distributor of Xerox/Tektronix products for a limited period. At the same time DPI will now have the right to supply the Xerox range of black-and-white printers.
