Russian government to raise $30 million for General Prosecutor's Office
Prime Minister Vladimir Putin has signed a decree authorising a $30 million loan from the Export-Import Bank of the US for the procurement of hardware and software for the General Prosecutor's Office. Ten million are expected next year, while the remaining $20 million should be allocated in 2001. The loan should be spent on the procurement of hardware and software that is not produced in Russia.
