Antimonopoly ministry cancels Gostelecom decree
The Ministry of Antimonopoly Policy and Support of Entrepreneurship has finally canceled a decree issued by the State Committee for Telecommunications to prohibit CDMA operators in Russian from offering mobile services on the grounds that it contradicts the Law on Competition. However, the operators will have to wait with the introduction of new services until Gostelecom adds a respective permission to their licenses.
