New e-commerce solutions provider created in Russia

The Russian company Incubator.ru and the Latvian company FIS Group have announced that they have created a company called IMP Commerce. The new firm will specialize in the development of business-to-business and business-to-consumer e-commerce solutions based on FIS Group platforms. IMP Commerce positions itself as "a real alternative" to Commerce One represented in Russia by Commerce One Russia, a member of IBS Group. According to IMP Commerce marketing director Olga Rink, the shares of Incubator.ru and FIS Group in her company are now approximately equal, however some changes are possible in the future. The development of IMP Commerce products is performed by groups of developers in Russia and Latvia. The company plans to promote them through a network of partners in Russia and the CIS. Ms. Rink says several tens of companies have already expresses their interest in becoming IMP Commerce partners, and one of them - eTopS - has already signed an agreement.
