White Wind-DVM has announced the results of its RoverBook sales in 1999. According to general director of White Wind-DVM manufacturing division Andrey Khalturin, in terms of units RoverBooks accounted for 29 percent of the market in Russia. Models in the price range up to $1,500 accounted for 70 percent of RoverBook sales, $1,500-$2,000 – 10 percent, and more expensive – 20 percent. In 2000 the vendor plans to retain the market share, intending to introduce SpeedStep and Bluetooth technologies in its portable products.
