Roy International installs Sun products in Tatneftegeophysics

Roy International has announced that it has completed the first stage of a project to create a computer system based on Sun hardware at Tatneftegeophysics. The contract was signed about two years ago, calling for the delivery of one Sun Enterprise 10000 (Starfire), about 60 Sun workstations (mainly Ultra 10 and Ultra 60), several plotters, other hardware, as well as the installation of Schlumberger software. So far, Roy International has supplied the Sun Enterprise 10000 computer and several workstations. The project is valued at several million dollars and is scheduled for completion by March.
