Cisco Systems equips MICEX

Cisco Systems and the Moscow Interbank Currency Exchange have announced that they have completed the construction of a network in a new office complex of the exchange. The network connects 800 workplaces in all of the three buildings of the complex. The system is based on 25 Catalyst 5505 switches, two ATM LightStream 1010 switches, two Cisco 7513 routers, two Cisco 7206 routers, four Cisco 4500 routers, five Cisco 2514 routers, four Pix Firewall firewalls, two unauthorized access protection systems Net Ranger, two licenses for the network management system CiscoWorks 2000 and five licenses for Cisco IOS Firewall feature set. The Moscow office of CMA Small Systems carried out this project.
