Compaq reorganizes corporate accounts department

The Russian office of Compaq has completed the reorganization of its corporate accounts department. The new division brought together all corporate accounts managers from other departments. Their responsibilities also changed: now each manager specializes on a geographical area or a vertical market rather than a technology. As part of the reorganization, the vendor also created a competence center that will be in charge of technical seminars for customers, the installation of demo equipment, the support of pilot projects, and pre-sales technical support. The center employs four people and is managed by Igor Panov. Currently the new department employs 15 people, including the employees of the competence center. Dmitry Kondratiev was appointed as its manager. The number of employees is to eventually grow to 20.
