TMK Participates in “Oil and Gas” International Exhibition and Conference in Kazakhstan
TMK took part in the 14th Kazakh “Oil and Gas” (KIOGE-2006) exhibition and conference, which was held from 3-6 October 2006 in Almaty.
TMK presented the latest achievements of its subsidiaries in the production of line pipes and pipes of the oil and gas range with premium class threaded connections, and brought visitors and participants up to date on the company’s production modernization program.
The “Oil and Gas” exhibition in Kazakhstan is a central event in the economic life of the Caspian region countries. About 500 companies from 40 countries took part in the forum in 2006. The exhibition was held under the auspices of the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the joint-stock company “NK KazMunaiGaz.” It was the sixth time that TMK took part in the exhibition.
TMK considers Kazakhstan a promising and rapidly growing market for its pipes. TMK plants meet up to 30% of the needs of Kazakh companies for steel pipes and up to 40% of their needs for seamless pipes.
