Arnest to upgrade enterprise management system
Columbus IT Partner has announced that it is starting a project to implement
the enterprise management system Axapta at the cosmetics firm Arnest. The
customer employs about 1,000 people and specializes in the production of
perfumery and cosmetics products. The contract was awarded following a
tender, which had been held early this year and brought together about 60
enterprise management systems. The new software is to replace 1C:Enterprise
SQL, Project Expert and Marketing Expert, currently being used by Arnest.
According to Columbus IT Partner marketing manager Alena Lileina, her
company plans to automate "tens of workplaces". During the first stage of
the project, the modules for manufacturing, finances and logistics will be
installed. The next stages call for the implementation of electronic
commerce modules.
