Open Technologies complete first stage of Sberbank project

Open Technologies has announced that it has completed the first stage of a project to upgrade the S.W.I.F.T. system of Sberbank of the Russian Federation. Open Technologies reports it has installed a two-node cluster based on Sun Enterprise 6500 servers, a subsystem for the development and testing of new applications based on Sun Enterprise 3500, a subsystem for information backup based on a Sun Enterprise 250, software from Veritas Software, a subsystem for centralized administration and monitoring, as well as several Sun Ultra workstations. Within the next two months the systems integrator plans to complete the installation of application software and personnel training.
