Central Elections Committee to replace outdated hardware and software
The Central Elections Committee has announced that it plans to organize a tender to find a supplier to be responsible for the delivery of computer technology for the Elections Automated System. The equipment is to replace outdated hardware purchased in 1994-1995 which amounts to about 7,000 computers. The tender is preliminarily scheduled for Spring and it will be open to both local and foreign manufacturers. The Committee is also planning a tender to choose software vendors.
