Adobe Systems decreases the number of its Russian distributors
The European office of Adobe Systems has announced the restructuring of its Russian distribution network. As a result, the number of distributors was decreased from six to two companies - DPI and A3-Graphics. Terem, RSI, CPS and CHS Russia have lost the status of Adobe distributor. The vendor explained that only those two companies "showed good results both before the crisis and after it, successfully overcoming difficulties associated with the sales of software in Russia". Terem, RSI and CHS Russia representatives stated that in fact they had stopped their relations with Adobe over a year ago "in no small part because of inflexible distribution policy" of the vendor. CPS general director Sergey Fenev says his company does not plan to stop offering Adobe software "which it can buy from other sources at about the same prices".
