North-West GSM accepts development plan

North-West GSM has announced some results of its work in 1999. The company increased its subscriber base from 95,000 to 140,000, and invested about $20 million in its development. The board of directors of the operator approved a development plan until 2004, which calls for the network expansion and the implementation of third-generation communications technologies.
