VIA Technologies presents PC processor

VIA Technologies has demonstrated in Moscow a new processor for personal computers – VIA Cyrix III. The processor works at 433 MHz, has 256 K of level 2 cache memory, and supports the 3DNow technology. The mass production of the new processor is to be started in May or June by VIA Technologies subcontractor National Semiconductor. In Russia and the CIS, VIA Cyrix III will be distributed by CHI.
