3Com to help Extreme to enter Russian market

3Com and Extreme have reached an agreement, which calls for those projects in Russia that included the installation of CoreBuilder hardware to be realized and supported jointly. According to 3Com commercial director Vitaly Fridland, his company may recommend its customers to utilize Black Diamond equipment. However, if a customer wants to buy CoreBuilder after June 30 it will be delivered by Extreme. 3Com will only be responsible for its support. Mr. Fridland says Extreme is likely to use 3Com partner network in Russia, planning to start respective negotiations in May.
