Ford Motor Company announces tender results

Ford Motor Company has announced the results of a tender it held to choose a contractor to build an information network at its plant in Vsevolzhsk. The tender was won by CSS St. Petersburg, which had previously automated the St. Petersburg office of Ford Vsevolzhsk. The winner plans to build the network, using Cisco Systems networking equipment, Lucent Technologies LAN and telephone cable systems, and Systimax SCS structured cable system.
