AFK Systema reports on purchases of Ankey Holding

AFK Systema, a Moscow based conglomerate with close ties to Moscow City Government, has announced that following its purchase of a controlling stake in Ankey Holding last August it has now created an informatics division based on what was formally Ankey. The new division will unite eight firms that will be managed by Systema-Informbusiness. The latter will be managed by former Ankey president Igor Krokhin. According to Mr. Krokhin, his division will specialize in the development and implementation of enterprise management systems, information services and e-commerce solutions. In 2000, the division’s revenue is expected to reach $30 million.
