Nizhny Novgorod-based companies join to purchase equipment
Five telecommunications companies in Nizhny Novgorod - Sviazinform of the Nizhny Novgorod region, Transsviaz, Nizhny Novgorod Cellular Communications, Personal Communications Systems in Russia and Sotel Nizhny Novgorod - have reached an agreement to jointly purchase a management system for 100,000 subscriber lines. Each of the participants will get a capacity proportional to its financial input. The system is likely to be based on NEC Neva equipment, the exchange NEAX61S.
