1C, Folio customers face Y2K problems
According to 1C Alexey Kharitonov, after the New Year his company has received no more requests for support than usual. He says Y2K-related problems were experienced by those users who purchased 1C:Accounting several years ago and did not bother to upgrade it despite the fact that last Spring 1C released a free patch for old versions. Likewise according to Folio expert Sergey Manichev, Folio customers who use DOS versions of its accounting software and did not upgrade them using a special patch were forced to make this upgrade in January.
