RAO UES to choose consultant for Internet project

The Russian energy utility company RAO UES is holding a tender to select a consultant for a project to upgrade its Internet server. The tender has attracted Garant-Park, Demos-Internet, Data Art Enterprises, Oracle, PricewaterhouseCoopers and Siemens. The winner is expected to help carry out technical and information upgrade of the system. The project is being financed as part of the International Bank for Reconstruction and Development loan for the promotion of reforms in power industry.
