Galaxy Computers completes Goscomstat project

Galaxy Computers, the exclusive distributor of Psion Enterprise Computing has finished a project to create an automated system for the collection of information on prices and services at the State Statistics Committee of the Russian Federation. The contract was signed as a result of two tenders carried out by the Committee this year and called for Galaxy Computers to deliver 400 portable industrial computers Psion Workabout mx and peripheral communications equipment, as well as develop and install specialized software. The contract also included training of 100 employees of Goscomstat.
