IKT implements R/3 at Slavneft Yaroslavnefteorgsitez

Moscow-based IKT has put into pilot operation the Cost Accounting module of the SAP R/3 system at the oil processing company Slavneft Yaroslavnefteorgsintez. The installation is part of a larger project to implement a unified information management system at the oil enterprise. According to IKT technical director Vadim Paramonov, by the year 2000 his company plans to put into maintenance the modules Financial Accounting, Materials Management, and Sales and Distribution. The whole project valued at some $1.3 million is to be completed by the year 2002.
