Autodesk closes down Moscow office

Autodesk has announced that its Moscow office will be closed. According to the Autodesk official statement, the decision was driven by the company's worldwide move to minimize expenses and concerns some other countries as well. The Russian office will be completely closed in two months and its staff of eight people will be laid off. The Russian distributors of Autodesk will continue to buy directly from the vendor's office in Munich, though will not receive the same marketing and other support previously available from the Moscow office.
