Taiwanese company to produce UPS systems specifically for Russia

Plus UPS Systems, a subsidiary of Plus Electronics has announced that it has launched a new line for the production of uninterruptible power supplies in Taiwan specifically for Russia and the CIS. The vendor will be able to manufacture up to 100,000 Plus Back and Plus Back Pro UPSs every year. According to Plus UPS Systems president Steven Choi, by the year 2000 his company plans to invest $2 million in the development of its business in Russia by installing another three UPS production lines in Taiwan. The products will be distributed through JIB Group. The cheapest Plus UPS Systems power supply - Plus UPS Back 350 - costs $50.
