Open Technologies completes Khantymansiyskorktelecom project
Last week Open Technologies announced that it had completed a project to upgrade hardware and software at Surguttelecomset, a branch of Khantymansiyskorktelecom. The Moscow company delivered Sun Enterprise 3500 and Sun Enterprise 250 servers, the disk array StorEdge A1000, the tape library StorEdge L280 DT, as well as the software Soltice Backup and Oracle Enterprise Edition. According to Open Technologies marketing manager Elena Sybachina, the new hardware was used to replace outdated Hewlett-Packard servers.
