Kraftway to supply computer equipment to Mingosimuschestvo
Kraftway has won a tender held by the Ministry of State Property of the Russian Federation to choose a supplier of computer hardware to its main office and 89 regional branches. The tender was carried out early in Summer and brought together 15 systems integrators. According to Kraftway manager of sales department Oleg Gulevsky, his company will deliver computer and networking equipment as well as software. He says each branch will be equipped with a Kraftway server, two Kraftway workstations with Windows NT, Windows 98, Office Professional 97 and InterBase pre-installed, networking hardware and a printer. The main office will take delivery of 150 workstations and a respective number of peripherals. The contract also calls for Kraftway to purchase from NeuHaus Distributor Group and deliver to the customer several hundred uninterruptible power supplies SmartLine. The whole system being built is valued at about $700,000 and will be used by the ministry for the creation of a registry of real estate in Russia.
