Xerox-CIS announces half year results
Xerox-CIS has published the results of its work in Russia, Ukraine and
Kazakhstan in the first half of this year. The vendor reported total revenue
of $52 million, a 35 percent increase compared with 1H2000. In unit terms,
the company sold over 26,000 personal laser printers (excluding tender
shipments) and about 8,000 copiers. In the first half of 2001, Xerox-CIS
signed three contracts as a result of tenders won for the delivery of a
total of 15,000 printers. The three customers include the Ministry of
Education, the Ministry of Taxes and Duties and the Ministry of Railways.
