CyberPlat, Autocard-holding start working with scratch-cards
CyberPlat and Autocard-holding have announced that they have started
commercial operation of an authorization gateway for e-port scratch-cards in
the CyberPlat system. The project itself was launched last August, however,
the use of e-port cards have only become possible now. According to
Autocard-holding marketing director Egor Ushakov, besides various
technological and legal issues, the companies also had to resolve the
problem of double payment of sales tax by e-port cards users. Mr. Ushakov
says that the new payment method cannot be considered as successful until it
is tested by the market. He believes that not all buyers are interested in
scratch-cards. For example, paying for something to be delivered by a
courier is more convenient in cash. On the other hand, scratch-cards may be
useful for buying access to an information resource, or PIN-codes and
passwords.
