Oracle appoints its first Russian localization partner
Borlas IBC has announced that it has signed an agreement with Oracle
covering the localization of Oracle Applications HRMS modules and their
promotion in the countries of the CIS. The Russian company also announced
that it had completed the localization of two modules of the system - Human
Resources and Payroll. Borlas IBC has also developed a Russian module called
Time Management based on a similar Oracle application that accounts for the
Russian regulatory environment. The agreement also calls for the partners to
share technical support responsibilities: if a problem is connected with
localization, the request will be forwarded to Borlas IBC. According to
Borlas deputy director, Vram Alexandryan, his company is the first in
Eastern Europe to be granted the status of Oracle Certified Localization
Partner.
