Sviazinvest adjusts restructuring plans

Following a recent presidential decree to divide the whole country into seven federal districts, the management of Sviazinvest has made a preliminary decision to merge all of its subsidiaries into seven large companies, serving one of the districts each. Previously, the holding planned to merge its subsidiaries into 8-12 companies. A final decision will made after Arthur Andersen provides the results of its work on the pre-sales preparation of Sviazinvest shares.
