Race Communications starts selling AVIDIA in Russia

Race Communications has announced that it has started to ship PairGain AVIDIA systems in Russia. The system is designed for campus and access networks based on ADSL and SDSL. The system costs between $28,000 and $42,000. Race Communications customers will be able to test it for a month before making a final decision on purchasing. According to Race Communications, it is currently involved in the development of three projects that will call for the implementation of the new systems.
