IBM announces new servers in Moscow

IBM EMEA has announced a number of new RS/6000 servers in Moscow. These include S80, M80, H80, and F80. According to the vendor, these products cover all segments of the server market. According to IBM EMEA sales and marketing manager Sergey Bugrov, currently his company has about 10 contracts for the delivery of the new machines in Russia in the third quarter of this year. The retail price of the cheapest models – F80 and H80 - in a minimum configuration is about $30,000 and $40,000 respectively.
