ViewSonic announces details of NDP acquisition

ViewSonic has announced in Moscow some details of its acquisition of Nokia Display Products. According to ViewSonic sales manager in Eastern Europe Willi Lohrke, in Russia Nokia monitors will continue to be sold by Lanck, CompuLink, and Pirit, while ViewSonic monitors – by Dealine, White Wind, and Verysell. Former NDP manager in the CIS and Northern Europe Kari Hirvonen moved to ViewSonic as regional manager. Mr. Lohrke says in about a year, all Nokia monitors will be produced under the ViewSonic brand. By that time, his company will decide which of the current distributors will retain their status.
