MICEX presents interface for remote users

The Moscow Interbank Currency Exchange (MICEX) has demonstrated a gateway to its trading system. Developed by CMA Small Systems, the gateway is based on Internet technologies and is designed for MICEX brokers, clients and investors who want to get information in real time mode. Today, of about 390 MICEX players, nine are connected through the new gateway. These include Alor-Invest, Otkrytie, First Investment Bank, Surgutneftebank, Brokercreditservice, Fundament-bank, Optima and Interspread-Invest. Another 20 are now testing the system. The gateway costs about $3,000. This year, MICEX plans to spend about 40 million roubles (about $1.3 million) on the development and implementation of Internet technologies on its system.
