Cognitive Technologies release new OCR system

Cognitive Technologies has announced a new version of its OCR system – CuneiForm 2000 R2. According to the vendor, the new version provides better quality of text recognition (the quality was improved by 40 percent compared with the previous version), supports up to 15 languages, HTML and DBF formats, export of recognized tables into MS Excel, and other features. The price of ConeiForm 2000 R2 is $199.
