IBM demonstrates new products

IBM has announced a new family of personal computer systems - NetVista - produced in the framework of a strategic initiative to optimize Edge of Network networking devices. The family includes four lines - Internet Appliance, Thin Clients, All-in-One and Legacy Free – covering all desktop applications. All the models are equipped with a TFT monitor (up to 15 inches). All-in-One and Legacy Free are based on Pentium III and Celeron 533 MHz and higher processors, 20 MB HDD, CD-ROM or DVD-ROM, and 64 MB or more RAM. According to Valentin Ivanov, IBM manager for desktop and mobile systems, the new hardware is already available for order in Russia through the vendor’s first and second level partners.
