Microsoft Research announces results of activities in Russia

Microsoft has announced some results of work of its division Microsoft Research in Russia. According to Microsoft manager for R&D relations Igor Agamirzyan, for the past 10 months the value of grants and donations made by Microsoft Research totaled $300,000. The division also provided 10 institutes of the Russian Academy of Sciences and two universities with free software. A number of libraries and higher education institutions were granted books several hundred books on computer issues.
