Vympelcom gets $80 million loan

According to a number of news agencies, Sberbank of the Russian Federation has provided Vympelcom with a loan worth $80 million. The money is expected to be invested in further development of the cellular network and the introduction of new technologies, such as WAP and GPRS. Vympelcom has already returned its previous debt to Sberbank - $27.75 million – allocated by Sberbank earlier in the year.
