The Moscow government has announced a tender to choose equipment suppliers for a project to build a management and communications system for the city’s police. The tender and the project are overseen by the Moscow Committee for Science and Technology (MCST). According to MCST project manager Alexander Vedminsky, currently his organization is sending out invitations to the tender. The bids will be accepted until April 12, with plans to identify a winner in about a month. Mr. Vedminsky says that project is valued at about $100 million.
