IT Co completes new stage of Sberbank project in Kursk

IT Co has completed a new stage of a project to automate document turnover at the Kursk branch of Sberbank. The systems integrator built a three-tier telecommunications system based on fiber optic lines and leased channels to interconnect over 15 offices of the branch. The system utilizes four SmrtSwitch Router 2000 and one SmartSwitch Router 8000 routers (Cabletron Systems), as well as 16 Cisco 1601 and one Cisco 2610 routers. IT also supplied IT-SCS components and some Allied Telesyn networking hardware. So far, about 150 workplaces have been automated, with plans to increase their number to 400 in future. The project is being carried out in cooperation with the Kursk-based company Navigator and the bank’s specialists.
