3Com announces plans for nearest future in Russia

The Russian office of 3Com has announced some changes in its work related to its restructuring. The vendor has stopped its support program for Retail Partners and is not signing new AHR (Advanced Hour Replacement) service contracts. The company also plans to decrease its Moscow staff by two or three people. It is not clear yet how the alliance with Extreme Networks will affect 3Com operation in Russia. Presently, 3Com commercial director of 3Com in Russia Vitaly Fridlyand is discussing this issue with Extreme Networks in the US.
