Aquarius Data to replace computer memory

Aquarius Data has announced that it is replacing memory modules in about 2,500 out of 5,000 computers it assembled last October. According to Aquarius Data general director Leonid Goldenberg, the memory used in those PCs was purchased by his company in September and it had a latent defect, which does not show in Windows 95, may show in Windows 98, and does show in Windows NT. Knowing about the problem, Aquarius Data did not install the memory on computers that were assembled for use under Windows NT, but had to install it on other machines because of the computer memory shortage at that time and to fulfill obligations before corporate customers and partners. Mr. Goldenberg says his company has already replaced about 60 percent of the modules. The rest will be replaced by the end of May.
