Former Sviazinvest director heads SPPOSS

According to the Communications and Northwest agency, former general director of Sviazinvest Nail Ismailov has been appointed as head of the Union of Communications Equipment Manufacturers and Users (SPPOSS). The creation of the union was initiated by the Ministry of Communications and Information in December 1999 to protect the interests of the Russian telecommunications equipment manufacturers.
